Executive Membership Eligibility
LACRA Membership is open to a specific group of professionals currently active in marketing commercial real estate. LACRA membership is not available to vendors or associated businesses related to the commercial real estate industry. LACRA has two classes of members, “Executive Member” and “Member”. Following are the requirements for becoming a LACRA “Executive Member”:
(1) EXECUTIVE MEMBER - $500 Annual Dues
An Executive Member of LACRA must:
- have maintained for at least five (5) years immediately preceding application for membership an excellent reputation and during such period have demonstrated significant experience and competence in the commercial real estate business, either as an employee of a brokerage company (broker member) with a minimum of five employees active on a full time basis in the marketing of commercial real estate, or as an employee of an owner or developer of one or more projects totaling at least 500,000 rentable square feet (developer member)
- be actively engaged in real estate leasing, management development and/or sale
- abide by LACRA Bylaws, and the LACRA Code of Ethics and LACRA regulations and operating policies (collectively, the "Code of Ethics")
